Chapter 2- A Day At School
"Psst…Jesse?"
"Yeah Steph?"
"Do you have any idea what the answer is to number 35?"
"Uh…you know I'm an idiot…but I put C."
Chemistry- the only class that Stephanie struggles with. She is brilliant. She never studies, she does her homework the class before it's due, and yet she gets straight As. However, that evil chemistry class, coupled with a WRETCHED teacher, is just the formula that troubles Steph. I'm just an average to poor student. I don't really care, and even if I did, I am so distracted by my love for Stephanie that there was no real point in trying anyway.
She is so beautiful. Every time I see her, my heart melts, and I just want to go right up to her and kiss her. I just want to be with her, to love her with everything I can with her knowing, and then be able to have the privileges that come with having more than her best friend.

I just got off the phone with Steph and it seems like she is having a somewhat ok night, which definitely helps me sleep at night. I dream of her anyway, and knowing that she isn't in danger of losing her life is a security for me. It gives me peace, and tells me that my reason for enduring the pain and living on in life is still going to be here.
At that thought, I drifted off to sleep.
